This is a charcoal sketch I did the other night. When I first tried charcoal, I didn't like it at all. I now love it. I have done a few sketches with the charcoal and they always turn out nice. I like the look and the simplicity of the lines I use with charcoal and the drawings just seem to flow onto the page.

I like the feeling of volume you achieve with that bold line and gentle shading. Nice!
Very good drawing! I like the idea of the hand in action.
I like the shading too especially by the wrist. You do get the feeling of movement.
This hand is very nicely done! I wanted to leave a comment about your frog, but I got a message saying the "web administrator" had shut off additional comments...or something like that. Thought you might want to know.....I LOVE THAT FROG!!
