Another WDE at WetCanvas.

This week I decided to have a play with my colour pencils. This is drawn on A4 (21 x 29 cm) but looking back, next time I will do an A3 (29 x 42cm). Its drawn with the derwent studios as well as the prismacolor black, white, crimson, one of the greys and the colourless blender. I have used the burnishing technique for the whole drawing.

This is beautiful! The fruit looks so inviting and the skin is so leathery. I knew you were a good artist, but I had no idea you were this good!

I put a link to this place in my blog. Now that I know about it I'll come back often.

This is my first visit to your blog and I am truely impressed by your work. Until I read your post, I believed this was done in patels. Incredible colour richness, and you have managed to achieve lovely textures. I have never tried colour pencils, what would you advise to start with?

These look good enough to eat. The reflections turned out so well, as did the shadows. They are so shiny - maybe from the burnishing. Nice job.
