New Oil Paintings.

I have finished some new paintings.
First is from a picture taken on the Great Ocean Road.
Not taken by me but a close friend.
It is painted in Oil on board and is 26" x 20"

"The Cliffs."

Second is just a tree!
I think it is a ghost gum and was painted using another photo taken by the same friend.
I'm not sure it's entirely completed yet. I may return to it.
It's Oil on board and is 24" x 17".

"The Tree"

These are amazing Shelly!! I have been wanting to tackle oils for a while, but find it a bit daunting.
I might email you for some pointers. The Ocean Road one is awesome. It's hard to get water right, but you've done it! :))

Very nice pictures. You do a great job at the realism of the scene.

You have really caught the look of the water over sand on the ocean road one. They're both great but that is my favourite.
